Hence Kalyani started the book fair in 1988 which is continuing its legacy to date & what makes the Kalyani Book Fair more famous is that several reputed publishers like Ananda Publications, Dey’s Publications, Viswa-Bharati, Rupa, etc. On an approx the Kalyani Book Fair almosts generates revenue of 25-30 lakhs for the Owners/Publishers, the contribution behind the revenue is almost 4-5 Thousand visitors to the Kalyani Book Fair per day.
